At first, I really want to succeed in Neosoul, Trip-hop and PBR&B. Later, I am going to try acoustic ballad. The reason is, originally, I listened to only strong and characteristic music, but as I listened to music, I noticed that my taste has been changed to popular and soft ballad. Those are comfortable for listening, so, nowadays, I practice acoustic ballad.

Hi. I am a R&B vocalist Call Lee who looks like Border Collie.

It is a long story. Actually a game made me start music. (lol) When I was a high school student, I was a dancer. It was the start. Later, I had prepared to make a debut as a girl group for two years in a dormitory of my management agency, but, it was too hard and stressful. Therefore, I took a break for a while. During the break, I met Slez and he asked me ‘How about doing music?’ Therefore, with the nickname, called ‘Gongcha’, I recorded three songs and couldn’t forget the pleasure of the singing moment. I hesitated for two month about quitting my agency and quit. And I became a member of Elly Gang crew with a name of Call Lee.

VVD crew! Especially Zion.T and Crush. When I was hesitating about quitting my agency, I listened their music frequently. Their unique sentiment and tone attracted me.:) At that moment, I heard that my vocal style wasn’t unique several times, So I was incited by them more.

I cherish the 5th track, Lonely, of my mixtape, Opal. I guess I feel attachment the most because I wrote the song when I was having hard time. I needed lots of money, at that time, because of Studio’s monthly rent, instruments and so on, I overworked a lot even at dawn so I was lonely and hard. Through “Lonely” I expressed my desire to take a rest and hang around with friends.

The hardest time for me was after quitting my management agency. At that time, I didn’t know what to do. At first, I told my parents I would do Black Music and they said “Only scumbags do that kind of music. Get out of my house!”

There is a group called The Internet and Syd Tha Kyd, the only woman of Oddfuture, is a member of the group. The Internet’s Third album, Ego Death, is my favorite. “Gabby featuring by Janelle Manae” is also good, and “Girl” is a good track for feeling attractive neosoul. And there is one more album I have listened to so far since I had hard time. The first track of Crucial Star’s “Midnight” In the album there is a track featuring by Taylor called Midnight. The lyrics, melody and vocal is fantastic! Most of artist would sympathize when they work at night. And the second track “Exit” is also sentimental. You must listen to it. This song proves that Crucial Star is the no.1 in sentimental Hip-hop. The tenth track Owl’s rap beat is also incredible. I highly recommend this song!! 

At first, I started it to publicize myself, because at that time I was casted on YettieTV which is an entertainment program by Afreeca TV and KBS. However, broadcasting on Afreeca has become my tonic, so I am enjoying it. My broadcasting hasn’t been popular, yet. However, I am very satisfied with the fact that I can communicate with my fans and present my songs! I recover when broadcasting even though I am tired. It is weird. (lol)

This semester I go back to school, I wish to graduate without any misadventure. (lol) As I broadcast steadily, I want to show nice musical contents!
