Q. Is there a special meaning to your stage name?
Vicky Nhung is a comination of my nickname is Vicky and my name is Nhung Nguyen. Vicky is an abbreviation of Victory. That means win all challenges, win all situations, win myself. By my name, Vicky always remind myself about trying the best and never give up.
Q. What are the strong points of you that others do not have?
My strong points are thinking, creative, effortful. I’m not better than others. Not only focus on singing and dancing, but also focus on how to find a way to reach the audience, conquered the audience and connect with the audience in the best way, the most effective and most others.
Q. Can you tell us how you started your music?
I have started my music when I had stress and struck in my work. To get out of stress, I find pleasure in the mashup of songs available on the beat and posting on my YouTube channel. My first mashup has received an enthusiastic from audiances. That is a motivation to make new mashup and participate to The Voice 2015.
Q. Is there a musician who influenced your music?
Jessi J influenced my passion. It isn’t the fame or glory around her, that is the adventure of Jessie on acoustic songs. Jessie has shown 10 times with 10 shades and different feelings with one song. I really respect her who is the inspiration for performing style.
Q. Is there a keyword that would describe your goals or values?
The passion, creative, optimistic
Q. What do you try to express through your music?
Power of love, optimistic and enjoy life
Q. When was the happiest moment of your music life?
The happiest moment in my life was probably when I took part in The Voice Anonymous 2015 competition. All of instructors put on tap to look at me. Not only the fame or glory, but also I know that my effort officially acknowledged. At that time, I believe my self more than ever.
Q. Have you ever wanted to give up? How did you overcome your hardships?
So many times, I wonder if I quit my job to follow my passion, is this risk? The answer is always “Yes”. Sometimes, I want to quit my music activities to continute office job. But nothing can make me focus on working. So I faced difficulty.
Q. Where do you usually have your performance? Why?
I usually perform at event, bar, club. This program and location are suitable with my style and kind of music.
Q. Do you have an episode with a fan that you remember?
When is my birthday, my fans prepair all of things such as location, band, mc, cake, video... That is unforgetable memory.
Q. What are the processes of preparing for your performance?
I’m always taking with audience before perfomance. It makes audience feel excited and successful performances.
Q. I heard you just recorded a new album, could you tell us about the album?
This is a composed song by me, it refers to the lonely, missing lover when it’s rain out of the window.
Q. Do you have a favorite song or a song with a special meaning among your songs?
My favorite songs are mashup list which do it by myself. This is my passion and creative ideas. I know who I am, what my ability is, and how to increase that. I choose beat, edit video, lyris and record. I just hide producer. Simple is the best.
Q. Do you have a hobby other than music?
I am making movie, painting, and reading book. I used to work for Yeah1 TV, Yan as Motion Designer. Then I was a teacher in major. That a reason why I love making movie and paiting. Books are an indispensable part of our lives. No matter I am happy or sad. I just feel like a friend, a teacher and a person directs my life. Even i want to publish an own book.

Music is my life. Whether you are dry guys, you love a song at least. Music help your life to balance. In my opinion, I can express my feelings by my voice, especially composing,
Q. How do you want to be remembered?
By the way, Singers want to be remembered as a person with good voice, impression style. Especially, I want to be remembered as who bring possitive energy to everybody. Sometimes, I sing sad songs but I hope that audiences can receive positive energy sources inside me. Those reasons why I always share and let us go passion life, enthusiansm, and avoid to negative thinking.
