You can enjoy it with fun, Two.S
I can’t explain fully enough, but I want to make music that can be enjoyed with fun by not only me but everybody who listens to it.
Q. Hello! Please introduce yourself to us.
Hello! I’m Two.S of ALPaGo team with Mad dog in D.attack crew.
Q. Is there any special meaning with the team name?
ALPaGo is the case that a joke settled as a name. The team members, Mad dog and I, both like drinking so we joked like ‘What about ALcohol Party Go?’ and it just settled as the team name.
Q. What caused you to start music?
Originally, my music life was just singing what rappers rap and going karaoke. I started all this because Jong Min who is in the planning team right now, suggested how about getting start formally. I’m the person who doesn’t start at all if there is no interest on it, but I was hooked on copy rap at that time so I accepted the suggestion. I didn’t expect to write my own lyrics at all like this in those days.
Q. When your members started group activities?
ALPaGo started September, 2015 although the name is still quite new.
Q. What are the characters of your team and members?
I can’t explain full enough, but I want to make music that can be enjoyed with fun not only by me but by everybody who listen to it.
Q. How is your work going? Where do you get your inspiration?
I write lyrics to the music of songwriters in the team, or the beats shared in YouTube because I can’t compose by myself. There is no special place that inspires me but I usually write in the practice room alone while other members practice.
Q. What is your dream as an artist?
I think everyone will agree with this - I hope I can listen to my music on the street. Stores playing my music when I’m walking through downtown! Only in TV can we see such things like that. I want to be the star like that.
Q. What is the music for Two.S?
Music is the most possible thing that I can live along with the rest of my life. Beyond just listening or making it, I become fully known who I am with music. It is a way to achieve self-fulfillment.
Q. What is your future plan?
So far, I was working on the music for the performance whether people are knowing or not. However from now on, I want to release my album so people can find and listen to my music. It will be so nice if more people sing along my music and play with performance.
Q. Do you have any words for the fans reading this interview?
First of all, thank you for reading my interview. I didn’t expect to do interview but just imagine. It was so pleased and I hope to have more opportunities like this.
