Music is like a rest area for tired people, Seong-keun Kim
For me, music is the rest area of my life. It keeps me in rest whenever I get tired by studying. It might not sound like a big dream, but I want people to listen and acknowledge my songs.
1. Hello, please introduce yourself briefly.
Hello! I am Sung-keun Kim, one of the members of vocal club called ‘Entertainment’ of Jeon-book College. I am 24 years old and currently majored in civil engineering.
2. What made you to decide to start music?
My father went out to a TV show called ‘Korea Sings’, and I firstly realized my father was actually good at singing. I was impressed at that moment and thought I should start singing. After that, I started music.
3. What artist influenced you the most in that process?
The very first pop song I listened was [Jjang-ga] of Gun-mo Kim. He has very unique voice and special colors in his song that I never get tired of his music. So I became a fan of Gun-mo Kim, and as I listen to his songs, I think I got my own colors.
4. What is music color of you or your group members?
I do aim for R&B style music, and members do not have certain colors for their music. They like various genre of music without any kinds of discrimination.
5. How do you process to compose songs? Is there any places or stuff you get inspirations from?
We choose a song to sing, select a vocal fit in to that song, and practice songs and record it in the club studio. We do not have any source of special inspirations, but as we listen to certain song and feel right for it, we practice those songs and put it on the stage.
6. What song are you most attached to?
There is a song called [Typical melody] by Zion T and Crush; it has special soul of Zion. T and Crush’s emotion. It was very hard to practice, and that makes me to attach to the song.
7. When was your hardest and happiest moment in your music career?
Our club have subscription concert at the end of each years, and it is the largest stage we have for our club. We have to prepare a lot of stuffs and preparation was very difficult. However, whenever we finish the concert, we are very happy for our final work.
8. What is your future plan?
My plan is to promote our club through online and TV show programs to make public notice us well.
9. What songs do you have for your playlist? Any suggestions?
[Moon of Seoul] of Gun-mo Kim, and [Typical Melody] of Zion.T are in my playlist. My suggestion is [Oasis] of Crush; it is fun song and I would continuously listen to it.
10. What is music means for you?
For me, music is the rest area of my life. It keeps me in rest whenever I get tired by studying.
11. What is your romantic dream as an artist?
It might not sound like a big dream, but I want people to listen and acknowledge my songs.

I would say thanks to our club members(expecting that our club will increase its size), and senior members who made this club.
